We are all called to be lifelong learners. As men, we constantly seek knowledge and embrace learning. Whether it's related to our careers, hobbies, music, reading, travel, or world cultures, learning keeps our minds sharp and our lives full!
More than a lot of things, our work helps define us. While you have been successful, this phase of life asks new questions. When should I retire? Should I retire; is that even a thing? How can I leave a legacy of significance rather than just success. These are great questions and worthy of dialogue with your executive coach so you are as impactful and influential in the next few decades as you have in the last few.
We all have things we love to do: fishing, hunting, golfing, traveling, playing instruments. Some of these activities have probably been on the back burner while you have pursued your career and raised your family. During this phase of life, it is crucial to make time for these things that bring you joy.
There are other pursuits, some that you may have only wished to do, such as cooking with your spouse, traveling, woodworking or reading more. Your executive coach will encourage you to find the time and rhythm in your life to engage in some of these activities that will experience a more full and healthy life.
